Ren has been working in comics and illustrations since 2014. Started out by publishing zines such as “Grrrls to The Front: Manifesto Riot Girl Ilustrado” at the International Comic Festival (FIQ), 2015. Since then, they've launched the zines “Hey, why there aren't any classic comics written by women?” (2016), “I'm not pretty” (2017) and “The Witch's Tree” (2018). They're also the author of the book "Minas para Colorir" (2017) and the comics “Silêncio = Morte” (2017) and “Só Ana” (2018).
In 2017, they joined the team of “A Samurai: Primeira Batalha”, by Mylle Silva, and composed the collection “Amor em Quadrinhos”, organized by Milena Azevedo.
In 2019, participated in the collections "Histórias Quentinhas Sobre Sair do Armário" (with “Meias da Sorte”) and "Mulheres nos Quadrinhos". They also published online the shortcomics "Broken When Not Held" and "The Phantom of Fandom".
Ren's work can also be found in "O grande, Gostoso, Quente e Úmido Livro do Sexo" and "Paulo Freire: Presente".
Illustrated covers for Harper Collins, Penguin, Compainha das Letras, Rocco, and others, in addition to illustrating the Adventure Time album "Marceline Canta: Timeless Songs" for Cartoon Network LATAM.
In the screens, Ren was background artist for the series Nutty Boy (Netflix), nominated for an Emmy for Best Children's Animation, and Footsteps on the Wind, a short film with music by Sting, among other projects to be announced.
Their work was exhibited alongside the Brazilian tour of the Russian feminist group Pussy Riot.
They participated in Mulheres no Resquadro (SP), [Des] Framedas (CE), FIQ (BH), FLIQ (RN). Among their clients and partners are Netflix, Cartoon Network, Telecine, SOS Amazônia, Fundação Futura, Companhia Record, Editora Rocco, among others.
Nominated for the Angelo Agostini Award (Best Screenwriter) and HQ Mix (New Talent - Artist) awards. For their work as colorist in the comic Sangue Quente, by Guara, they've also been nominated as Best Colorist.
Ren is currently working on their next graphic novel, Lapso.
